Window writing

Today feels like a day for window writing. Make yourself comfortable beside your chosen window and carefully observe. Give yourself a bit of space for thinking, dreaming, scribbling. You could set yourself a timer, say 10 minutes, and then keep going no matter how incoherent your writing may seem. I often start by writing about what I see but inevitably end up writing about something entirely different. Alternatively, try writing about what might be seen looking through the window in the opposite direction. You choose – look in or out on your world. Or both. (And, yes, there is a beach hut in my garden.)
